- N: Clear, fresh and gentile spirit with some light summer fruits and muesli mash. Malty also with chocolate – all blanketed in positive casks that aren’t too zingy. There’s skilful cask management going on.
- T: Raisins are go! Arrives and delivers very well and is neatly balanced. Rather sweet but not saccharin by any means, more pectin sweet. Otherwise it’s hints of this ‘n’ that with no nip. Is there a sherry influence here, 70/30 bourbon/sherry perhaps?
- F: Short yet tidy conclusion.
- C: All present and correct, very, very good. One of the best [Scottish] 3yo’s around and this is its ‘official’ debut – all eyes on Wolfburn certainly.
