N: A fruity bouquet with sweet vanilla sponge and a little marzipan. Seems to die in the glass – 40%, grrrr!
T: Light, medicinal-sweet sherried syrups – a subtle, thin, light, clean sherry style that you don’t find these days. Very polite and yet carefree.
F: Long and lingering
C: Simply splendid and stupidly drinkable, but it seems that even 25 years on the throne isn’t worthy of an abv any higher than the bare minimum – G&M!
